"Sorry, Miss," I said bluntly, "but your painting ain't no Picasso! Pablo Picasso started out painting realistically, but it wasn't too long before he turned to abstract art.

I pointed to the Picasso. "Look how bright and flat the shapes and colors are compared to those in your painting. The chicken is broken up into small flat colors and surfaces." I grinned. "Like Pablo said, 'If the subjects I wanted to express have suggested different ways of expression, I haven't hesitated to adopt them.' He called his style Cubism."

I shook my head. "I'm afraid we'll have to look at the list again."
