Scouting the Settlers

Dying of measlesThe French Settlement at Sainte-Marie

You have contracted measles, a European disease against your tribe has no immunity or resistance. As your fever worsens and your skin breaks out, you go blind. You realize you will die. You are unable to report back to your tribe.

You have died of measles. A new scout must take over.

You re-enter the story as the new scout. You journey to Fort Sainte-Marie and learn from the Wyandot tribe what has happened to the scout who has preceded you. You note your conclusion:

The French will be good for your tribe.

Learn about the symbol of the buffalo.

The French will be a threat to your tribe.

Learn about the symbol of the black widow spider.
