You and your neighbor Agustín are pretty excited about this ecotourism project, but some other people in the community are not. They would rather tend to their crops rather than take care of tourists. Agustín thinks it might be easier to organize a small group to run the project rather than try to include everyone. Meetings would be shorter and more effective, and you wouldn't have to persuade people to help out if they didn't want to.

There has been little change land use. Currently about a third of all community land is forested.

There has been little change in income. Currently each household earns about $600 a year.
